Recently, visitors to Yellowstone National Park witnessed a truly shocking scene. A man, whose identity remains unknown, was caught on camera getting dangerously close to a pack of wolves. The incident, captured in a video shared by Keith Allen Kerbs on October 6th, quickly went viral.
In the video, the man, identifiable by a white scarf, is seen approaching a group of five black wolves. Kerbs' reaction says it all: he can be heard yelling, "What an idiot!" as he films the unfolding drama. The man initially runs towards the wolves, then, in a desperate move, appears to deploy bear spray as he retreats.
"He almost didn’t make it out alive," Kerbs wrote in his Instagram post, a chilling testament to the danger of the situation.
But here's where it gets controversial... Yellowstone National Park has very clear guidelines. Park regulations state that visitors must maintain a distance of at least 100 yards from wolves and other wildlife. Approaching or disturbing animals is strictly prohibited. The park's website emphasizes the importance of maintaining a safe distance and avoiding any behavior that could agitate or displace wildlife.
